    Sea of Thieves In Game Voice Chat Not Working


    When invited to a party with friends we can communicate fine. When joining randomly into a session, I cannot hear anyone or they hear me. Essentially I cannot pick up on any "hot mics".

    I'm on PC using xbox app. I've allowed the app to use my sound devices and the microphone and speakers are correctly chosen.

    Not sure if I somehow changed a privacy settings. I checked and I didn't notice anything on blocked.

    I'm having the same problem and it has nothing to do with party audio that's why he said Sea of thieves voice chat

    It doesn't work at all for me, and parties work completely fine.

    Sea of Thieves In Game Voice Chat Not Working

    Check your profile's in-game settings and allow chat with other crew members. You don't have this issue when in a party as that is taken care from xbox live service while the in-game chat requires in-game settings set up correctly.
