Sea of Thieves gone from purchase history and library

I just got a new computer and shifted over all my files and software and such. Of course, I cannot shift over actual games, but all I needed to do was log on to my accounts and redownload them, right? Sadly, this was not the case for Sea of Thieves.

I logged on to the xbox app/microsoft store and went to find the game, but it wasn't there. All that's there is solitaire. I was confused, and thought for a moment that maybe I had mistakenly logged on to a different account. But I only have the one account, and I see my friends in my friend list that I actively played Sea of Thieves with. I even see the achievements I have gotten for Sea of Thieves! 36 achievements earned, gamer score 320/2385, I can see a list of every achievement I got... but no game. I tried looking on here on the community, and someone was told to go confirm they had a purchase history. So I decided to go look for that just in case I was asked the same thing, but... all I see is the Windows 10 purchase I made for the new computer this very day?? No Sea of Thieves. Microsoft thinks I never even bought it, even though the achievements are right there, I can see which ones I got with this account and which ones I didn't. I don't know what happened and I don't know how I could even confirm to a support person that I bought it except for giving a screenshot of the achievement page.

I'm pretty sure I had the anniversary edition, because I got the Sea Dogs pack way back when, like, 2019 or something. I haven't played in a whiiile because my last computer was old and struggled with it. Now I have a nice new computer with great graphics and I want to play it without dropping frames, but I can't play it without dropping another $40 on a game I already paid for...

Until this day I didn't know why sea of thieves and state of decay 2 would be gone from my library, thanks for this info.

I highly recommend following the troubleshooting steps here:

After each step try to see if the issue is fixed!

First, please select System > Settings > account > remove accounts and then select your account and select Remove to confirm.

Then, hold down the power button for about 10 seconds, until the console shuts off, then unplug the power cord and wait for 2 to 3 minutes before plugging it back in and turn on the Xbox.

If the issue persists, please try to check your games in the order games history in this following website : Microsoft account | Home

If you are still encountering the same issue, please select System > Settings > System > Console info > Select Reset console > Choose Reset and keep my games and apps.

Note =>The "Reset and Keep my Games and Apps" option will not cause losing your games, but please be aware that you need to be completely aware of the email address as well as the password of your account before going for it because it will require you to sign in to the account.

I no longer have Steam on my computer and I got a refund for Sea of Thieves from Steam so it's not even in my Library. I also uninstalled the Steam version of Sea of Thieves from my computer.

Please, look for the purchase in your Transaction History.

Then, copy the order number and contact Xbox Support.

Then, follow these steps:

Type in your query: "Agent"

Click on Get Help.

Scroll down the page and click on Contact Support.

Select your "Other Products" and "Billing and Account Profile Questions" > Confirm.

Select "Chat with a support agent in your web browser" > Confirm > Start Chat.
