    Sea of Thieves Gifts not showing up in game


    My brother gifted me two Sea of Thieves codes, One for the Plunder Pass for season two, and one for the Feline Finery Bundle.
    Both of the codes redeemed successfully but the content does not show up in game.

    Relevant Information:

    The content was purchased and redeemed via the Microsoft Store, But I have the Steam Version of the game.

    My steam and my Live accounts are linked correctly, and I have tried to un-link and re link them to see if that will fix the issue.

    My steam account and live accounts use different email addresses.

    Both codes were purchased for the US version, and I live in South Africa.

    The questions:

    Does it matter whether I have the Microsoft Store or Steam Version of the game, as the Steam version logs into my Live account anyway?

    Is it possible for the codes to have been redeemed on the incorrect email address?

    Can the Codes being for the US version be the problem?

    As the codes have been redeemed, can they be removed from my account and be refunded so that they can be purchased on the correct platform if that is the issue?

    It'll actually just show up in your downloads under the Sea of Thieves game. No codes. Got to My Games and Apps, then Sea of Thieves, hit manage game and it should be ready to install. :)

    My copy of sea of thieves has disappeared. I haven't played it in a while but it says I never owned sea of thieves even though I purchased the game.

    No it shows nothing in my purchase history including when I subscribed to the game pass separately before I bought sea of thieves. No purchases show up.
