Sea of thieves download randomly stops

So i bought the Xbox game pass so i can try sea of thieves. Everything went fine but after i started downloading it just randomly stops like every 300 MB. I said okay maybe the servers are down or smth so i waited a day. Today i tryed again and its still
just randomly stops. When it stops i can just restart without a problem and it contines the download where it stopped.

I have a good connection i have no problem downloading anything else or doing anything else at all. Any idea? I already tryed resetting the windows store, checking for windows updates and making sure i have the good date and time.

Its pretty frustrating any idea what can cause the problem?

EDIT/POTENTIONAL SOLUTION(?):

It looks like EVERY time i use alt+tab i get the error. Im testing right now but looks like if i dont use it no error anywhere. Weird but okay? I will edit this if anything happens!

Okay so news! I made sure the download is going fine (waited 10 mins and not doing anything else on the comp.) then i left for the night. it downloaded! So my guess is it has as problems with alt tabb altho no i dea why.

Thanks for the answers! Im playing on pc with wireless connection.

I tryed restarting the router didnt helped. Then i deleted the game/local saved games and still nothing...

It works fine for 1-2 minutes then error and i have to restart it. Maybe it works a little longer than before.

I also tryed multiple speedtest websites. It showed that i have a stable ping upload/download rate.

I would agree with Choppy that uninstalling/hard console reset/reinstalling may be the best course of action for you.

Hi I suggest you to restart the modem and see to use an Ethernet cable to try if there are different

You may want to try uninstalling the game, Then clearing local saved games (don't worry you won't lose anything) and the Mac address on the console before installing again.

Are you downloading to a Xbox console or on a PC?

Sometimes internet providers artificially throttle downloads from high-bandwith sources, but don't actually tell their customers.

Usually for ordinary web surfing, that won't matter.

You could try to start a Speedtest from a well known speedtest site, as those "traffic shaping" Internet providers then release the throttle, so you can't "measure" their bandwith throttling, as long as you use a speedtest.

Check if the downloads continue while you do speedtests.

Be aware, that when the Sea of Thieves game is downloading, you will of course NOT reach your usual bandwith speed.
