Sea of Thieves - Disparity in play between controllers and PC

My wife and I purchased two copies of Sea of Thieves. We have two Xbox consoles and an Xbox live subscription.

We love playing Sea of Thieves but we feel we must stop because of the huge advantage that PC players have over Xbox players.

The PC players have enhanced abilities to move, point and shoot with deadly accuracy, quicker respawn time, the ability to swim up to and board moving ships, quick change of cannon shot etc. They troll the servers taking booty from controller players who cannot adequately defend their attacks.

Too few of the PC players offer alliances, or leave others to play the game in peace. They attack everyone.

IN THE ADVENTURE GAMEBOARD, PLEASE PROVIDE XBOX SUBSCRIBERS WITH THE OPTION OF PLAYING XBOX PLAYERS ONLY. Cross play is ruining the gaming experience.

What do you mean xbox players have too much aim assist? Xbox players get no aim assist in sea of thieves at all! As an xbox player I find it impossible to beat pc players as they have incredible precision and trying to beat them on a controller with zero aim assist is impossible. Rare should give us xbox player aim assist as pc player are too over powered.

We are not unskilled at the game. We routinely play, battle and overcome the game generated opponents; skeleton boats, megalodons, krakens, skeletons, captains etc. and we hold our own with other Xbox opponents. Computer players, on the other hand are almost unbeatable; and it is ruining the game.

there is NO aim assist for controller on sea of thieves there bro

"mouse is only as accurate as the person using it, controller has stong aim assist which is a benefit to controller players". As someone who plays it on PC with MK and Xbox Gen S, mouse gives you a much better advantage than aim assist. You really can't compare the two for accuracy. Sure, you get very good console players but they have to be that much better to compete and a MK player of same level. Also, you can set lots of key short cuts on your mouse, for a quick switch to throwing blunder bombs during a fight, or quick feed during fighting.

the game plays no differently on pc except loading times and slightly higher framerates, like i say people on xbox use m&k so you will still be getting battered by them. i have seen no differences when playing on my xbox one or via PC. in someways i wish they made an option to play with K&M only as controller players have too much aim assist.

but if they did disable crossplay you would still have problems as alot of players on the xbox one use keyboard and mouse. and people who play via the series x will have higher framerates and faster loading so in effect the same as pc.

something you will just have to get used too.
