    Sea of Thieves crashing while 2 people are playing with Play Anywhere


    This occurs every 6-7 minutes while two people are ingame with the same Store account with the Play Anywhere feature (we use separate Xbox accounts though). No message pops up or anything, just a crash
    to desktop. We had this problem a long time ago, around launch, but it got fixed somehow. Now it started around 1.4 patch and we don't know where to start to fix this.

    Okay, we tried reinstalling and it's still crashing to desktop. We checked if the accounts/devices were linked to the actual MS Store account where the game license is, and seems like everything there is correct. Don't know what to do anymore.

    We would like to confirm the issue being experienced details the same account being used when playing Sea of Thieves?

    Is this occurring on two separate devices? As in one being an Xbox One console and the other being a Windows 10 PC?

    Let me see if i understand correctly.

    Player a is on pc with player b using player a's home console but logged into his own account? If that is what's happening, this isn't what is meant by play anywhere. Each player must have his own license. The game wasn't designed to handle it this way
    and it's likely the reason you are having issues. I would recommend purchasing your own copy and think that will correct the problem.
