    I downloaded sea of thieves today using the xbox game pass. i try to launch the game but it crashes instantly and kicks me out. I have gone through all of the suggested steps as found in the game's web page. everything is up to date and my laptop fits the requirements for the game. I am not sure what to do next.

    Unlike most people on this forum, I'm also a PC player. Not had much play on SoT, but I do play other Windows 10 games.

    Please answer some questions for me.

    1. What background processes do you have running in Windows 10? Any Antivirus or hardware monitoring apps?

    2. What are your system specs?

    Some Windows 10 Store games can have issues with certain antivirus applications and programs that monitor graphics and hardware performance such as MSI Afterburner.

    Please let me know.
