Sea of Thieves Crashing after splash screen

Discus and support Sea of Thieves Crashing after splash screen in XBoX on Windows to solve the problem; So every time I launch the Sea of Thieves App weather its through the Microsoft store or the desktop, the splash screen opens then it crashes instantly...     Sea of Thieves Crashing after splash screen


    So every time I launch the Sea of Thieves App weather its through the Microsoft store or the desktop, the splash screen opens then it crashes instantly after.

    One time though, I did receive an error message:

    If anyone knows what to do please help, I've tried reinstalling to no avail multiple times as well as shutdown and turn on my PC and install the Xbox insider app which I heard would help, however, it didn't.

    Please help lol

    Side note, I have contacted Rare on their support page however, they still have not reached out to me.

    I found a
    thread in the Sea of Thieves forums     that includes some troubleshooting which appears to have resolved other users with this issue - can you try the recommended solution there, and let us know if you're still seeing the same crash after that?

    Are you running any anti-virus application on your Windows?

    As I searched, I could find the thread as below from the dedicated
    community for Sea of Thieves    .

    [semi-fix] Crash to desktop after splash screen

    One of the user resolved his issue with uninstalling 3rd party anti-virus application on his Windows.

    (I believe that you're gonna be fine with Windows Defender!)
