    Sea of Thieves crashes randomly


    I will just be randomly playing the game and it will crash. When i re-launch it, it asks to do a file integrety check which never loads. I have re-installed the game and windows, also used diffrent drives. Could be a hardware problem but doesnt happen with other games, isnt graphics as i am consistantly getting 90-115 FPS. This has been happening for a couple years.

    How to Roll Back Windows 10 to a Previous Version of Windows

    To go back to a previous version of Windows, do the following:



    If your computer is unplugged, make sure you plug it into the wall outlet and click Next.



    Click Start and type "recovery".



    Select Recovery Options (System Setup).



    Under Recovery, select Go Back to Windows [X], where [X] is the previous version of Windows.



    Select a reason for the reversal, then click Next.



    Click Back to Windows [X].



    Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the rollback.

    When the rollback is complete, the computer will boot into the previous version of Windows. If you used a password to log in in the previous version of Windows, you will need that password to log in.

    Yes I have, after the fact I have also set exclusions in it as well. Also used a different drive with Windows.

    yeah it said no problem, tried a different cable and its fine now. when looking at task manager it seems to be using a lot of cpu, but when looking at game bar it says it is using like 1%.

    try the following

    Reinstall the Gaming Services app on your Windows 10/11 device:

    Select the Search icon on the taskbar, type powershell, right-click on Windows PowerShell, and then select Run as administrator.

    In Windows PowerShell, type the following command and press Enter:

    get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-AppxPackage -allusers

    In the same window, type the following command and press Enter:

    start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN

    Install the app on that page and select Yes when you receive the User Account Control (UAC) prompt.

    Restart your device and try to install the game again.

    It found and repaired files it said. Also was longer than normal between crashes, but didn't fully fix it.
