    Sea of Thieves Closed Beta won't Start. "Too Early Error"


    Looks like many of us Pirates re having the same issue. Can't start the Beta as the error is stating that it's too early. I hope Microsoft and Rare adds an extra day to the beta to make up for lost time.

    "Too Early" Error for Sea of Thieves Closed Beta

    I’m have the same issue. Spoke to two different Microsoft reps who told me I’m going to have to wait 24-48 hours to get a “resolution” and also stated the issue was on the publishers end.....even though I followed the publishers steps, to no avail......

    I still can't play it... won't launch on Windows or Xbox... I just keep getting that Too Early error... I'm about to refund it and move on. I opted into the beta in the Xbox Insiders Windows App and all that... nothing works.

    Missing Pre order email

    If you preordered digitally through Xbox, you won't receive a code. You would already be able to download it. It would either show up in your ready to install area or you'll need to search for it in the store.

    If you preordered it from a retailer, you'll need to contact the retailer you purchased it from for assistance.

    I pre ordered online and I installed the pre order Sea of Thieves AND the pre ordered Sea of Thieves Closed beta. I have two Sea of Thieves in my Games folder now on Xbox One...and neither of them will let me in to the closed beta which started at 4am PST.
    So I assumed you needed a code, which I don't have.
    No, there's just been an issue with the beta and a lot of people are having it say they're trying to access it too early. If one of the downloads you have is the beta, then you don't need a code.
