    Sea of thieves - bought for Xbox One - but do we get it on PC?


    hi everyone,

    I’ve just bought sea of thieves (Xbox one) from Argos and wondering if someone could breakdown how I can also play it on PC? I was lead to believe from a friend that I could do this and reading online seems to support this. Would love to play this on PC
    (While the baby is sleeping!) but would appreciate some help on how to do so!

    How do we get microsoft reward points? Called tech they said come here...we bought Sea of Thieves and didn't get our points

    My friend bought sea of thieves and we game share on the xbox however I wanted to play on my pc. I was able to get the game on xbox but It says i dont own it on the pc

    Did you buy it digitally or on disc? Play Anywhere is only supported through digital copies. If you bought it on disc you can only play on the console.

    As Smwutches mentioned, Xbox Play Anywhere is only available for digital purchases of XPA eligible titles. When you buy an Xbox Play Anywhere digital game through the Xbox Store or the Windows Store, it’s yours to play on both Xbox One and Windows 10 PC
    at no additional cost.

    To take advantage of Xbox Play Anywhere, you will need to have installed the Windows 10 Anniversary Edition update on your PC, as well as the latest update on your Xbox One console. Then, simply log into your Xbox Live/Microsoft account and your Xbox Play
    Anywhere games will be available to download. On your Xbox One, games will show as “Ready to Install” under “My Games and Apps”. On your Windows 10 PC, games will appear in “My Library.”

    Can I play Sea of Thieves on PC if I bought it for Xbox?

    Unfortunately due to the copy being physical, your copy of sea of thieves can only be played on the Xbox one. If the game was purchased digitally then i believe that you would be able to play sea of thieves on both xbox and pc. Sorry for the inconvenience.
