Sea of thieves and xbox app voice chat won't pick up my microphone

I'm having an issue with my microphone, it's not being picked up at all, no matter what i try, not by the game not by the app, yet it works fine on discord, teamspeak and other games with voice chat feature, my microphone is a shure sm7b hooked up to the pc via an audio interface (roland rubix 24),

yes, my privacy settings are set up correctly, also the microphone is set to default device like it should, i also allowed those apps and game to access my microphone, assiged them the proper microphone, but nothing works, the troubleshooting guides didn't help, tried everything on there, now i'm lost, idk what to do next, i reinstalled drivers, unplugged and replugged everything that has to do with audio, etc. What else can i try?

no, i don't use the party chat, i'm in the game that has voice chat, but the microphone isn't bein picked up, so i can hear my crewmates, but they can't hear me and when i go to the xbox app>settings> audio, there is a gray bar right under where it says Voice volume and under that gray bar, you can set the volume, that gray bar looks like it should light up or show you if your microphone is being picked up but it always stays gray. When i go to the xbox game bar and launch a party, it looks like it picks it up there fine, but in the settings of the xbox app it does nothing, same for the game(sea of thieves) whenever i try to speak in the game nothing comes out on my side and the green message icon that shows if your voice is getting picked up doesn't appear at all meaning it's not picking up the microphone for some weird reason.

NAT stays at moderate, tried fixing it a few times, but stays at moderate, microphone doesn't work in game, otherwise the game works normaly and the game is multiplayer only.

is this in the xbox app? i can't find it there, or is it in the xbox console companion?

Just to better understand your problem. If you're in a party chat with a friend you can hear him but he doesn't hear you, right?
