Discus and support SDK leak and multiplayer issues in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Interesting thread I read tonight. Explains a lot of the multiplayer functionality issues the Xbox One has been having lately. Hopefully the 2015... Discussion in 'XBoX on Consoles' started by xCHEMISTx, Jan 6, 2015.

Worst console I have ever owned.....WOW!

Live wasn't hacked, it was an attack, and everything has been the same for me, intermittent party chat issues, friends activity doesn't load on the dashboard, but does when I go into friends.

It'll get better, at least from what is shown in the SDK leak.

Interesting article, I actually think developers should release more stuff like this, at the moment i343 looks ***, but this leads me to believe its partly down to the tools and lack of legacy.

    Interesting indeed.

@Davey. In the other thread where I said "maybe ms should of waited until the X1 was finished" before releasing it? Well you have to wonder if ms did jump the gun a little bit. A lot of information coming out lately about how dx12 could really boost the
X1, now it looks like the multiplayer system that ms has been using, isn't really the one they originally planned for, the one they plan on using is the "2015 multiplayer". This along with the Dx12 that also comes out this year (2015).... You have to wonder
if the console was meant for 2015 too?

    Who knows though.

Totally Agree, I guess the hard part is real world testing, especially when things get this complicated. MS have done somethings on paper you think should/could work, but in real life users said no or it was to restrictive, but without the real world testing
not just from users but some developers wanting to use parts of the system.

But I guess they have to try it to give it a go, certainly not ideal, but it does get there in the end.

I think they have played it pretty clever by releasing a console to compete with the other one at launch time, but that can be updated through the architecture rather than being reliant on hardware upgrades. Clever boxing from them if thats the long term
    plan.

Certainly makes a lot of sense with the MCC multiplayer being as broken as it is.

Yea well if all of this is true then Halo the MCC is the first game to use the 2015 multiplayer design and it's just unfortunate that it had so many issues. I suppose when you are on the cutting edge of something so complex and new it's inevitable that issues
    will arise.
