Scuf Controller Repair

I purchased a Scuf controller through the Microsoft store a few months ago. Recently, the right stick started drifting and I'd like to get it repaired. I contacted Scuf and explained the issue and I was told to go through Microsoft to see what my options
for repairs are. The issue is that this controller doesn't have the same type of serial number as a normal Elite controller. I've checked behind the battery pack where the serial number is at on a normal controller and I've checked everywhere on the box and
there's nothing that is comparable. Is there any way I can get this controller repaired without this serial number or am I just not looking in the right place?

As far as I know, Scuf controllers should be repaired by Scuf themselves

Maybe I should've specified what kind of Scuf controller it is. It's a Forza Scuf Elite controller, it was only purchasable through Microsoft.

I went ahead and checked the online Microsoft Store under the controller category and could not find any Scuf controllers for sale. I then checked the

Xbox site under the Accessories section and did find Scuf controllers being advertised but when clicked, the site redirects to Scuf's website so the billing still goes through them.

I would recommend looking for any proof of purchase, like a confirmation email for example. If the billing was through the Microsoft Store, you would see the charge on your Microsoft Account order history: https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders/

Did you purchase this controller from a physical Microsoft Store? If you purchased this controller from the online Microsft Store, then the purchase history would appear in your order history. Please refer to my previous post for the link to your account's
order history. I would also call Microsoft Store Customer Support for their online store to see what your options are with them. The link for their contact number is also included in my previous post.

I'm not sure it will be very likely though that this controller can be replaced as it was a limited edition controller and only 2000 were made and sold as stated from this article: https://scufgaming.com/s/scuf-forza-elite/.
Scuf is not even selling the bundle anymore on their site either. https://scufgaming.com/scuf-forza-elite-limited

As a Scuf Gaming customer who has repeatedly had to return their defective controllers for repair or refund I would encourage you to try and get a refund from Microsoft ASAP and SCUF Gaming directly too.
