    I find the home button double tap followed by x or y to be incredibly frustrating at times. Especially during system or game lag. I suggest using the "view and menu" buttons (usually known as start and select) to take a screenshot. Likewise, hold them both
    to capture video.

    Is there a way to take screenshots of clips?

    I have a bunch of clips just to show awesome stat screens or loot in Destiny, recorded before they added the screenshot function, but it would be so much easier if I could just take a screenshot of all these to save some space. Is there any option to take
    a screenshot of your own clips, or will I just have to make a compilation of two second clips?

    @Goat, Because your stopping games developers using that combo. (if they ever wanted to although I think that combo would be a little unreliable.

    IMO it should be a a chat pad feature.
