  1. Screenshots captured on Xbox One unable to be uploaded to Xbox Live or shared to activity feed

This has been a problem for me for the past few days, and it is annoying me greatly. When I take a screenshot while playing a game, it uploads to Xbox Live perfectly fine, but once I check my recent captures, it doesn't even show up in the "On Xbox Live"
section of Manage captures, only in "On this Xbox", thus making it unable to be shared to activity feeds, clubs, or friends via messages. This also means that if I upload that same screenshot to Xbox Live again, it is duplicated under "Recent captures" and
it still cannot be shared whatsoever. I can only share screenshots from December 1, 2020 or earlier, but I would love to be able to share some of my most recent screenshots from Halo and Serious Sam again!

However, game clips that I record can still be shared and visible on my Xbox profile and activity feeds. What exactly is causing this problem?

If it helps, my console is an Xbox One S that has the December 1, 2020 update applied.

    :)

To my understanding screenshots and clips are no longer automatically uploaded to Xbox Live. You have to manually upload to XBLive and then share to your activity feed and/or clubs etc.

This way allows you to review your shots using Manage Captures and delete them from the console if they are not what you expected and share those that you want to share.

Achievements can be shared automatically depending on your setting in

Settings > Preferences > Activity feed.

be uploaded to Twitter, OneDrive, your Xbox activity feed, private message, or your own personal showcase.

Where do uploaded shared screen captures go?

Hey friend! My names Keyonna and I am an Xbox Ambassador and I will be glad to help you out.

    About Xbox Cloud: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/gaming/xbox-live/features/cloud-storage/live-cloud-storage-nav

    Intructions on sharing screenshots:

Hold Xbox button until you see a guide, Go to Captures & Share>Recent captures. This will allow you to see all your screenshots. Select the screenshot you want to share and then go to See all sharing options>Activity feed. This will now make your screenshot viewable to other people.

Onedrive will not show your screenshots if you share it there.

Series X internal storage captures missing

Screenshots and clips use a limited reserved disc space to save to your console, not the whole capacity of the console disc drive. Once the limit is reached any new shots or clips will overwrite the oldest captures on the console. Upload any captures you wish to keep to the Xbox network and/or to Onedrive. From there you can share to Activity feed, Clubs etc.
