Screenshots and recording

I have been playing Xbox one for a few years now and for some reason ever since the cortana update, I cant record take screenshots or even broadcast. I checked my game DVR settings and they're all good. I hard reset my console, didn't work, I asked cortana
to take a screenshot and she will say I can't take a screenshot now. Any help?

Mines had the same issue since Sunday it seems. Power cycling the console didn't seem to fix it. When you double hit the home button does it even say the part about press X to capture, press Y to take a screen shot? Because mine doesn't even show that. And
hitting X or Y anyway does nothing

 

Try saying "Xbox take screenshot" or you can double-tap the Xbox button , and then press the Y button .

 

I have the same problem but only since today. I already made some screenshots/game clips but since today it won't work anymore. All my settings are good though. I try'd to say ''Xbox take screenshot'' and to double-tap the Xbox button, and press Y or X, but
also that won't work.
