    Another source. There are people claiming they got banned when they didn't share the screenshots. But, it may be auto uploaded. It is not for certain. To be safe, disable public sharing if you want to safe keep those mature moments and enjoy them later for yourself.

    Ban

    I got a ban on Xbox for a Screenshot I created and the ban says they have removed the screenshot and I have a temporary ban but at the bottom it says permanent aswell but this is only my second offence I learned from my mistakes on the last one. I'm a good
    player and my reputation is good I'm a bit scared can you help. I don't want my account banned especially since I paid for those games aswell please help.

    Screenshot bans

    You can view your ban by logging in at enforcement.xbox.com and
    from there file a case review if the ban is eligible for one. Playing the game and viewing the content is different from sharing it on your profile.

    I personally don't think that your account is going to be banned permanently for having screenshots.

    How did I get banned for a Screenshot?

    Can you not see how mad this is when cheaters are free to cheat, I get banned for complaining about it and this guy gets banned for a screenshot? The banning is so inconsistent and dodgy.

    Forums are not the place to discuss about your suspension, you must connect to the
    Enforcement site and raise a case review if you are eligible to do it.
    I can't submit a case review the option is not there.
