Screening Flashing

I bought my Xbox One three days ago. This morning, I stepped away for about half an hour to fourty five minutes after playing for a little bit and when I came back and the screen was flashing from bright to dark. I tried to restart but had the same issue.
Has anyone else dealt with this and how do you fix it?

Black screening

My 250GB slim has taken to black screening with Tekken. When I try and launch it reads the game and then goes to black screen and just sits there not spinning the disc or anything. The Guide still works, but I can't select Play Game (it's greyed out) and
if I try and Dashboard it freezes. If I reboot it works. Usually it happens just as I've booted the console. CoD4 which is really old and TTT2 are the only 2 games to give my Xbox problems. Thing's not even 2 years old (both games are installed).

And on a side note, good luck trying to sell an Xbox One to me based on your previous performance MS

Sounds like a cable might be loose. Maybe....

A 3 day old console shouldn't be having problems... so... if it continues I would promptly return it. Exchange it or get a refund.

This is unfortunate. It sounds like the video card may be dying on your. I would recommend instead of sending the console in for a repair is to return the console back to where you purchased it from and get another used or new console.

When you say resetting the console do you mean a power cycle by holding the power button on the console for approx 10 seconds, or a factory default reset?

I'm struggling to find anything myself too tbh, only thing I could suggest if you tried a factory reset would be to contact support for technical assistance, unless someone else can point you towards another solution.
