screen time on xbox does not match settings on account

I have screen time set to allow play from 4pm till 11pm. On Fridays, I usually turn the limits off if my son doesn't have homework, then turn the limits back around 10pm so that the xbox shuts down at 11pm.

The problem is that when I turn the limits back on, the xbox times out and tells my son his time is up. He still has an hour of time left. I have to add time on the xbox. Even changing the amount to "Max Allowed" doesn't resolve the issue.

Screen time vs activity time

I don't have limits set for my child's account, but the activity time is always higher than the screen time, and on the same Xbox one. How is that possible? Would setting a screen time limit lower the activity amount to match?

Why does screen time not work on FIFA

I have already setup the guest account with a key and set the access to content. FIFA does not seem to ask for even a guest account. when you log in when the screen time is expired it just says that your progress will not be saved. My kids don't mind as
long as they can play matches.

Try removing the child's account from your Family settings ,doing a hard restart (hold the power button for 10 seconds while the system is on) and re-add the account

does your physical location match your account location if not that will be why they must match

Does your account region match your physical location? You can't be set up for Canada and the US at the same time. If you're set up for Canada, you have to be in Canada in order for the download to work.

Trying to limit screen time spent gaming, but would like to exempt services like Netflix, Hulu, etc. Is there a way to whitelist those apps on the Xbox without using gaming screen time? Only other workaround I can think of is to make a separate
account just for TV use but would prefer to avoid that. Thanks!

That's easy, just sign out of your account. Applications like Netflix, Hulu, YouTube and other streaming apps do not require a user to be logged in. They can all be accessed without an active user.
