Screen Time Limits and Lock Screen

Can anyone confirm that when the Windows 10 screen is locked, the Family Safety Screen Time Limit clock is still "ticking"? In other words, if I give my son 4 hours of screen time, and he locks the screen for an hour, then he effectively gets 3 hours of screen time. If this is the case I would like to add my vote to modify this behavior so that lock screen time doesn't count. As adults, if we work 8 hours and go to lunch with our screen locked for 1 hour, we're really not consuming 8 hours of screen time. And if we wanted to accurately track our screen time, it would be silly to require us to log out of all of our apps and our PC when we go to lunch.

Keeping the clock running encourages my son to consume his PB&J sandwich in 30 seconds or less. And I'm sick of playing the game of "If you sit here and eat for a half hour I will add a half hour of screen time later".

That's not the same as locking your PC screen.

Thanks, but this is a Windows 10 issue more than an Xbox issue. In fact I don't even think there's a way to "lock screen" on the Xbox, is there?

Unfortunately there is no way to add a screen time limit to an adult account: only teen and child accounts.
