Screen tearing using Xcloud

Hello,

I am experiencing screen tearing issues with XBOX Gamepass application. I've tried with mobile phone, pc, and from an XBOX series S console. Results are the same with 1 Gbs Lan, WLAN and 4G mobile using the same Internet Service Provider.

From browser I usually not experiencing the screen tearing but the input lag is bad.

I've also tried from a friend where a different service provider is available. I connected my mobile phone to his WLAN (router is exactly the same as mine) and I experienced no issues even if the Wifi signal was not too strong.

I heard that different service providers using different routes to internet, and I also know that xcloud is still in beta state, maybe Xcloud datacenters are also fare from here (trying from Hungary), but still with another service provider there was no issues from same city.

The Connection of my current ISP is really good: 1000Mbit/s download, 300 Mbit/s upload speed and ping is always between 5 - 7 ms and I have no issues with other internet service just this one.

I also contacted with my ISP and and they couldn't find any problem with their devices, they are asking traceroute to the affected. servers and asked connecting the table directly to a pc. But the screen tearing is the same from mobile even if I am using 4G connection or Wifi and when I am using the 1 Gbit Wired Lan connected with pc and Xbox.

I also checked several forums and saw that I am not the only one who experiencing this kind of problem.

Does anyone have any suggestion or clue about this?

Not really true... i played xcloud in my pc on wifi and it works perfect... when i try with my xbox directly with cable is impossible to play is tearing everywhere... unplayable... if i download on the xbox hdrive it works fine... then is not the connection i think is the streaming option somewhere on the xbox... i trird all configurations and nothing works...

Thanks for your reply.

So currently the only possibility here to use connection from the another ISP where the connection is stable. (As the problem even occurs with the 4G mobil network of my ISP too).

I still hope they will improve their network capabilities for smooth xcloud experience as I am pleased with all other features of my provider.

From everything you have said, the issue is with the router/network. I did experience a similar issue with my hotspot. One network had terrible lags while the other was smooth. You just need a different network to play. Sorry for the inconvenience

I also thought that the xbox app may still have some problems, as from browser it is better.

But then why the gaming with app is working perfectly from a different internet service provider.

I have issued a new ticket to my ISP and performed some traceroute tests to www.xbox.com and also to stadia.google.com just to compare.

To stadia route from my isp servers seems simple but to xbox its seems complicated and there are bad latencies after my isp somewhere before destination. They said that they don't have any affect to that and they cannot change the routing protocol.

If you download game to xbox then you are playing locally and not streaming so that is a different story.

Anyway the service still in beta so I hope it will be better in time.

You are having connection issues so it's constantly re-syncing
