Screen tearing proof for the naysayers - direct Game DVR recording from the Xbox One

Its happening to everyone. Its very fast and some people don't pick it up. Some don't have an eye for it or whatever. My buddy told me the same thing that it wasn't happening for him. So I went to his house and sure enough it was happening. I dont think
its a problem with the Xbox more of the developers engine id guess.

Does anyone know how to edit video and put it back on your xbox one?

From the Game DVR screen within the Xbox app, you can access and edit all game clips recorded on Windows 10, as well as clips shared from your Xbox One. Editing in the Xbox app is restricted to Trim at this time. For more info:

DirecTV remote disabled

I can watch tv through the xbox one, view the guide, and change channels. I can use the DirecTV remote to power on/off the DirecTV DVR/Receiver and tv, and adjust volume on the tv, but I cannot use the remote to play DVR recordings from the DirecTV DVR/Receiver
through the xbox one to display on the tv. I also cannot use the xbox one to play DVR recordings that were recorded on the DirecTV DVR/Receiver.

Do I need to just give up on the recommended installation and watching tv through the xbox one and revert back to a direct connection from the DirecTV DVR/Receiver to the tv?

 

Do you have Disc or Download. I have No Problems with any of my games. beside BF4 but that's EA/dice.

 

Yeah, it's the game that is the cause of it, not the console or the TV, but the only reason I posted this is because every time someone mentions tearing in a game, a bunch of people turn up saying "it's your TV!" and it's not.

The Game DVR on the Xbox One captures the video internally, so it's what the console is outputting, therefore the TV or monitor that's connected to it is irrelevant. The console itself is spitting out torn frames, so any TV I connect to it will display them.
As you said, some people just desensitised to it or don't know what it is and think it's not happening to them, even though it is. There are no magic Xbox Ones that output Titanfall differently to mine and all the other peoples' who are noticing the tearing,
and there's no magic TV that makes the screen tearing disappear either, lol.

 

Thanks for taking the time to show us, first I've realised what screen tearing is - of which I've seen plenty in Titanfall although TBH this hasn't annoyed me, it's only for a micro-second... the times the frame rate has dropped have been much more annoying
to me.

 

Well if it is happening so fast and is barely noticeable why keep bringing it up like it's the end of the world. Honestly there have been many threads about this subject already. Oh and before any one starts a using me of not know what screen tearing is,
I will tell you that I have my gaming pc hooked up to a 40 inch samsung LCD tv and if I don't have vsync on in my games, the screen tearing makes the game almost unplayable. But seriously I havnt noticed so it must be very small indeed.

 

Mine is digital and my buddies is disc happens on my sons disc too but that is really irrelevant. Disc or digital they are both fully installed on the Hard drive. Those that chose disc only have to put it in to verify ownership. Look the pics above happen

I'm not doing that. I posted this so people will stop going into threads and saying "if you're seeing screen tearing, it's because of your TV!", which has happened plenty of times on here.

 

Well exactly duffel it is small and I hardly notice any more. I just hope they figure it out and I'm sure they will on future games. It def isn't a deal breaker IMO.

 

Hey I'm not having a go at you guys or anything. I understand it is there. Also it could have something to do with doe peoples tv's. I could be wrong but why is it when I hook my pc up to a tv I get serious screen tearing, but if I hook it up to a monitor
I don't. Same pc, same game, only the screen is different. If I am wrong please correct me.

 

Well now I know what screen tearing looks like, I can safely say I have never had it and if I have, its been unnoticeable. I hope for the sake of those that have had it, that its not too frequent.

 

I have had this Titanfall, it does exist.

 

Is it usually that fast or can it remain like that through out the whole game?

 

Its always fast at least on the Xbox one.
