Screen tear whilst using remote play on Xbox Series S

Recently I’ve been trying to connect remote play from my Xbox Series S to my laptop. Over the past few days it’s been working really well, with no issues. Today however, I’ve been having some serious screen tearing problem whenever I literally do any form of movement, whether in game or the Home Screen. I did a little trouble shooting and I found that if I disconnect and reconnect to my internet whilst playing, for the first 10 seconds everything works, then it goes right back to the same unplayable screen tear.

Even though it seems like a network issue, I absolutely doubt it is. My upstream bandwidth is over 9mbps, and my latency is less than 60 ms. My internet is wireless.

I am hoping that there is a fix to this, I’ve been trying multiple methods to make this work and nothing has.

Meanwhile, I would like to ask if you tried to use the remote play feature by using a different laptop or a mobile phone.

Cheers for that Piztup I have the same tv and I noticed a few slight problems whilst playing Trials with 'screen tearing' ????? hopefully it will be better now!

Have you went through the steps of turning on remote play on the console? What are you using to use the remote play options ie: computer, laptop, tablet or smartphone? You have to go through the settings to set it up. You can follow this link and it will give you step by step instructions:

To troubleshoot this issue, please ensure that your Xbox Series S is connected to the internet and that your friend's internet connection is stable. Additionally, make sure that your Xbox Series S is set up for remote gaming by following these steps:

1. On your Xbox Series S, go to Settings > Devices & connections > Remote features.

2. Make sure that the "Enable remote features" option is turned on.

3. Under "Xbox app preferences," make sure that the "Allow connections from any device" option is turned on.

If the issue persists, please try resetting your Xbox Series S and your friend's internet connection.

How about some cloud gaming from library no remote play from console required and no install required just like xcloud just with library on account itself 1 controller 1 stick in hdmi or app on android wish there was remote play on 360 games

But yeah series x for 60 fps and discs series s for 30 fps in future and no discs

So I was going for series s but I found out the my 40 360 games in libary won't remote play me

But screen is okay with a scaler I guess to older screen with different hdcp for watching movies lucky me going 5 meter hdmi for my Sony hmz t1 with modded helmet thing connecting to scaler output
