    Screen shots not sharable/savable?


    I've been taking a lot of screen shots of a game, and I want to upload them to my onedrive, but for some of them, when I hit the menu button to save them/share them, neither of those options show up. All I get in the menu is "Set as background", "View game
    hub" and "Delete". I think this might have something to do with internet connection, because I'm currently trying to play from my dorm and the internet setup that my school has isn't compatible with my Xbox, so I have to use a personal hotspot from my phone
    in order to get onto Xbox Live, and it seems that all the screen shots that I took while I was able to get wifi are the ones that I'm able to save and share, and the ones that I took while I wasn't are the ones where that feature doesn't work. Is there any
    way to fix this, as in make them saveable/shareable? Or do I have to go play through 8 hours of gameplay while online and take them all over again?

    Mystery solved. And it is a painful one.

    So I took over 100 screen shots before I signed up for Live Gold. None of those are available to share.

    Lesson for anyone reading this, if you want to share screenshots you must have gold at the time you take the screenshot. It's really dumb and isn't due to any kind of technology limitation. It's MS bad design to track some files as "not sharable" where
    others are shareable. All dependent on paying MS $$$

    Super bad customer experience!

    Thanks, I just finally got around to reading responses, The Wee Bear that worked perfectly, screenshots work now. Thanks to all of you for your time...

    See, I was against the feed for probably much the same reasons. But..... I love it now, being able to check out game clips friends are playing is a great feature, and I have watched clips of friends pulling off all sorts of crazy stuff. I'm actually
    going to buy Dieing Light now because of watching Docs vids. So I find it entertaining and useful. Plus every now and again I do feel like sharing a game moment among friends, which I never thought I would. So screenshots can't hurt.

    Just one more thing to make the activity feed an even more useless, cluttered mess.

    I personally can't wait for the Facebook mentality to leave gaming. Just like nobody cares what you had for breakfast, nobody wants to see your clips and screenshots from games most of us are playing anyway.
