Screen Recording When Web Browser Maximized

Hello,

I've just started using the Gaming Bar feature, and i'm looking to record while surfing the internet in Google Chrome. For some reason, when I maximize the chrome window, it won't let me record. After I press the "record" button, nothing happens, and then
I get an Xbox gaming overlay notification that says:

Recording isn't working

Error: 2147942487

After performing a clean boot, I still had the same issue. I then realized that I can take screen shots with the window maximized, but can only screen record when the window is minimized. To work around this, I adjust the size/scale of the minimized window
to make a it as large as possible, but I'm still wondering why I can't screen record when the window is fully maximized. I had the same result when using other browsers like Microsoft Edge.

Anyone have any reasons for this/ways to fix this?

Try to uninstall and reinstall it again?? You can download it from here:

There are also something wrong with my game bar, and I can't start it up... Since I still need to record the whole desktop, I got another third-party screen recorder called RecMaster.

Hello this did not fix my issue. Gamebar will work sometimes for example it will record my screen when I am in an internet browser. But it will not record my CAD program (2020 design). Is there a reason it would not record a program like that? TIA

none, internet explorer is no longer supported, also the xbox 360 just does not have enough grunt to browse the internet these days, it has 512mb of shared ram, it is ancient.

Unfortunately Microsoft had discontinued support for the Internet explorer browser.

The Xbox one can not get malware or viruses on it, but the web browser could have browsed to a website that was "infected" and was designed to look like a virus popping up on the screen - or even just an ad or cookie or some kind of content from a regular
website that can technically be recorded as the xbox visiting it since it got data from it.
