Screen output size

I've just recently got a new goodmans 4k tv and now since putting the Xbox one through it I seem to be missing some of the edge of the homepage. On games such as fallout shelter it's not showing everything it should, it's missing the edge. It's the same
if I go onto the store, it's not showing everything. Is there a way to readjust the aspect ratio on the Xbox? I've tried on the TV to 16:9 and I'm still having the same thing happen. The Xbox is through hdmi. I have a 360 and that shows everything on screen
and that's through hdmi also

Hdmi and Dvi problems

Are you connecting an Xbox 360 or an Xbox One to the TV?

On some TVs, if an HDMI-connected device is causing a shrunken output, there should be a TV setting that adjusts "overscan", which adjusts the size of the output on the screen.

Would be even better if that was a console feature so that everything would properly fit TVs with overscan (image larger than screen).

You can go into settings -> system -> console settings -> display -> HDTV settings, then choose one of the resolutions below 1080p/720p.. For instance, 1920x1080 or 1300x720. Image should fit the screen perfectly.

the only other thing i would try is OBS, you can set the canvas size and the output size to 2560x1080 and i know that works 100% as use it for streaming and recording.

Depends on size of room, gaming prefrence, amout willing to spend and graphics output. 1080p 60hz ot 120hz.
