    Today I was cleaning when I connected my Xbox One s to my HDMI cable to my tv it didn't work. After a few tries it did work but a black screen would appear. I would see a small green bar on the top then go straight to black again. I'm not sure if its my HDMI cable or my HDMI port. Does anyone have had this situation before? I can't also access the Home menu or turn off my console from the my controller as the option to turn off my console from my controller doesn't come up. Sometimes the black screen doesn't appear and it just says No signal for both HDMI 1 and HDMI 2

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

    To isolate the issue further please try to use a different TV or a different HDMI cable.

    I had the same problem I afraid.

    Was online to the support team for around an hour, hardware failure they put it down to.

    Register you console here:
    https://myservice.xbox.com/

    (Serial number is on then bottom of the console)

    Request a replacement.
