    Screen Lockup on Series X


    My series x has been locking up in a very specific way. The screen will completely freeze, the people in my xbox party can still hear me for a few minutes, but it never turns off. It just stays powered on in a frozen limbo. So far I've noticed it happening
    when using Eagle Eye in Red Dead Online, and deploying a barricade in Destiny 2. I tried holding down the power button to clear the cache, I unplugged it from the wall, nothing works. Both games are digital and stored on the internal. If anyone knows how to
    fix this without having to reinstall both massive games, I would appreciate it.

    No, tried the uninstall/reinstall numerious times from other suggestions.

    When it goes into lockup, Menu/back etc. do not work, can only get out of lockup by the big red X.

    Me too, a lot of loading screen lockups. Happens on PC also. Save before traveling. Ive noticed sometimes the autosave does this afterwards , and it gets the the way of accomplishments as well. Could this be an autosave bug?

    Hey try to clean the cache, by holding for 10 seconds the button when you switch off your console, then try again :)
