    Screen has gone blank


    I have an Xbox series X and out of nowhere the screen went black but I can still hear sound. I tried using three different hdmi cables and switching hdmi ports but that hasn’t done anything I also tried doing the reset by holding the on/off button for 10 seconds and pressing the eject button as well as the pair button but nothing is changing my tv also works fine because I can use everything else on it no problem what do I do?

    I also tried using cloud gaming from my pc and it connects but even that’s blank

    Hi CrumpetsOnToas, my name is Joel, I'm here to help you with any problems or questions you may have.

    CrumpetsOnToas, I'm glad that your console is finally showing image on screen again. For a next occasion in which the same failure occurs before performing the procedure using the eject, synchronization and power buttons, disconnect your TV from the console and the power for 2 minutes, after that time reconnect it to the console and perform the procedure with the 3 buttons.

    It’s alright I fixed it I tried turning off and unplugging everything for 5 minutes and it didn’t work so I didn’t again and left it for a couple hours and it’s sorted

    verify light on power supply , if blank screen and power supply light is white or orange, issue is with console, try press and hold eject + power buttons at the same time, if does not work, another wall outlet, if power supply has no light, its defective

    Really sorry to hear that you've gone through all of this trouble. Have you read over the troubleshooting article for when the TV has a

    blank screen when the Xbox One is powered on    ?

    Let us know how it goes and if your Xbox One is still experiencing issues after receiving it after the repair.
