Screen going black and losing fps when using Xbox Controller + Xbox Dongle

So here is a weird puzzle to solve:

I got the newest Xbox Controller, I have bought the Xbox Wireless Dongle for windows. Now, when playing for example Gears 5, every few minutes the screen goes black. Max Payne 3 is going into Pause screen and the inputs then go crazy wild, every input on the controller is then Shoot + Weapon selection wheel + movement (WTH?). For Gears 5 , I have to tab out and back in to get back to gameplay. Then the FPS drops from a constant 70 to a constant 20-25. I checked the logfiles. Basically it is saying that dwm.exe has stopped working every time this issue occures. I have looked for any fixes, no luck. I had Zero issues when playing whit my old Xbox One Controller ( without the new D-Pad ). Unfortunately I do not have a USB-C cable at hand to test it without the wireless connection, but 100% the controller or wireless dongle or both are causing this. Im pretty dissapointed that after having spent so much money I am getting this issues. I will post updates when having tested it with cable.

Does anyone have any insight or experience on this issue?

In case aynone is stumbling over the same problem: I updated the firmware via Xbox Accessories and the issue did not appear again yet. I will update in case the issue appears again.

My Xbox Series X controller has been giving me sensitivity and joystick issues too, but from what I can tell? The firmware on these new controllers is bugged to hell. I’ve seen reports identical to mine, and now that I’m reading this, I’m curious about what they’re doing to fix it. Like you, I’ve had to resort to just using an Xbox One controller.

The guitar hero dongle was for the last game with the black and white buttons, do you need an official Xbox 360 wireless controller dongle. The guitar connected directly with the 360 originally

won't come up with a wireless dongle that plugs directly into the Xbox One controller in the same manner their existing dongles work with the 360 controller?

Even having a wired chat line attached to an adapter is going to make the controller balance
different and it will look like crap. When is the last time an adapter worked well in anything.

Seems to be working fine for those using the headset that comes with the Xbox One.

You are aware that by and large headsets used with the 360 rely on cabling that runs from the base of the controller to the headset, correct?

When I click the home button on the controller it’s like the xbox doesn’t detect the home menu being there. Also the screen keeps going black. When is this going to be fixed. Anyone?
