    Screen goes grey and freezes after sign in


    I had to reset my Microsoft password last week and since then my son hasn’t been able to sign into his account. Every time he puts his Xbox on he has to enter password but the screen then goes grey and freezes. We’ve done a password reset and definitely have the correct password. We’ve also done a restart. Totally struck and can’t access online chats or callback. It’s a series s. His brother has the same console but he’s able to access his fine without issue. When I check my online account for his device, it says successful sign in for those times he’s put password in but not been able to play.

    Aaargh! Help!

    Sorry to hear you are having issues. If you have not already done it, I would suggest resetting the Xbox getting apps and games.

    Hey Kris. Thanks for the response! We finally fixed the issue by removing his account from Xbox, restarting console and then adding his account again! Phew 😮‍💨

    Console Unresponsive After Boot Up

    I am in the same boot, worked fine for 24 hours. Now my console freezes after green screen. IF it makes it to the home screen then i can move around but as soon as i go to sign in it freezes. I tried to factory reset but upon hitting "Reset" it just goes
    back to the system setting screen.
