    I have a 2TB Sky + box connected and since the One Guide became live in the UK when I change channel the screen frequently goes black for a brief period before the new channel shows. Sometimes i get the error message that my TV signal isn't connected before
    it returns to live TV.

    Its extremely annoying is there a fix for this support have been no use what so ever.

    No option for Sky+ HD 2TB box (DRX895-C)+ multiple issues

    Setting up One guide (FINALLY in UK!) It didn't recognise my set top box model number so I had to use the automatic choice of box. Also when changing channel the screen frequently goes black for a few extra seconds before returning to the TV picture this
    never happened previously.

    On the One guide panel that comes up at the bottom of the screen where it shows recent channels the On Now channel is always different to the one I'm watching.

    when asking for Sky Sports 2 or 3 it always chooses Sky Sports 1, chooses Pick TV instead of Disney Channel but these maybe Kinect's awful voice recognition.

    SKY +HD and Xbox One

    Has anyone else or does anyone else have an issue whereby when changing channel either using the +/- program button or using the Sky interface or stopping/playing a recording the TV screen will go black for 2-3 seconds before saying "we have lost your TV
    signal" then within 2 seconds the channel coming back sound and all.

    While not a show stopper it is so frustrating and means that the preference is to not pass the TV through the Xbox (which is one of the reasons i bought it) I've tried:

    Powering down and unplugging from wall

    taking it out of instant on mode

    changing HDMI cables

    re seating HDMI cables

    powering down the sky box

    and finally... Shouting

    I found a work around to this issue.

    On your sky box, go to settings - sound - you will probably see digital audio set to Dolby D. If you set that to "normal" and save it, it will stop that signal loss issue when switching from HD to non HD channels.

    This is only a work around as you now don't get Dolby Digital sound from your sky box which is not great. I think there is an issue the way xbox handles the switch between Dolby and non- Dolby in non HD channels.

    Finally found out what i believe to be the problem my Sky was set at 1080i and apparently the Xbox One has issues with this so i set it to 720p and it seems to be working better.

    Similar problems, screen stays black entire time, light comes on and stays on for 5 to 20 seconds then goes off. Can’t access the Startup Troubleshooter. Get one startup sound, but never a second. When I let go, it just goes to sleep. Can even get
    it to start from a controller with a blinking connection, but connection stas blinking and console acts exactly the same. Light comes on, sounds like its booting, then sleeps after 15 to 20 seconds. Tried cables, connections, super ventilation...nothing
    works.

    Cannot change Xbox one s out of low resolution mode

    When I select a hight quality, the screen goes black for about 20 seconds while it's waiting for me to confirm the change, but since it is black I leave it. There's no message on my monitor, but it is still on rather than in standby. Then it returns to low resolution. The monitor only has one hdmi port, so I can't try a different one. I haven't tried a different cable yet, but the cable works perfectly with my laptop.
