Screen goes black on Black Ops 2

So I already know about everyone's problems with their game discs not reading and a black screen coming up. I thought i was having the same problem, but was told otherwise. So here's my problem: Today I tried to play Black Ops 2 like I do every day, so
I turned my Xbox on and clicked on the game because it was already in from yesterday. Without even a hint of loading the game, the screen instantly turned black. I could open up my Xbox guide menu, but if I tried to dashboard it would freeze. I tried it repeatedly
to no avail. Sounds like the problem everyone else is having right? Then I put in Black Ops 1 and it worked perfectly. That's the difference between me and everyone else. No one else seems to have this problem. Any help would be appreciated

Hey! I constantly play black ops 2 but since today when I try to go on to black ops 2 my screen goes black and my Xbox freezes? Can somehelp me.

will let me play matches on black ops 2 but then after intermission during loading the screen goes green. i thinks its first gen. white xbox

 

I'm having the same exact problem. Just started today.

 

They just issued a system update and it fixed it right up
