screen glitching and controller won't connect

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

Kindly plug in the controller using a wired cable then try to reset the console keeping games and apps. Don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

Select Reset console.

Reset and keep my games & apps.

and if you restart your console it takes you back to the same screen? and your controllers won't connect?

mmmmmm, it won't even let me connect a controller. The Xbox controller gives the signal until I press the sync button on the xbox, at this point they both stop and the controller doesn't get connected. Before when I did have a controller, it wouldn't let
me leave the error screen.

Regarding glitches, my friend and I ran into a "Quest Screen Glitch" a couple of times now. The glitch causes you to get stuck on the "Quests Screen", and we haven't figured out a way to get out. The music will still play but you won't be able to exit or
move your cursors.

No it won't damage your Xbox and the HDMI cable is not easy to damage.

Green screen is just a glitch.
