    Screen glitch while playing Halo MCC


    Me and a friend were playing spartan ops. I noticed when the game started that the screen was windowed showing the edges showing a black screen with the picture being small and the edges being uneven. I took a picture of it with my xbox and my phone but
    I do not know how to put it in the forums. Is this a glitch on Halo or just a glitch on the console. I'm kind of worried about it.

    Music playing in the background on Xbox One

    While I was playing halo MCC I snapped the YouTube app and the snapped screen went transparent. Therefore I had the whole screen the play the game and listening to my music. It only happend once though

    Halo MCC was alright. Hopefully they've fixed all the issues with it though. Haven't played it in a while.

    halo general questions to anybody that knows the game well, help.

    If you get hit while aiming it will kick you out. It's been that way since the first Halo.

    Not sure about the Subtitles, it's been a while. Are you playing on the MCC?

    I don't think Halo 5 supports local split screen multiplayer if you want to play split screen I would suggest you try Halo Master Chief Collection.
    Yep. Halo 5 is single player only. MCC's split screen ability in campaign will depend on which campaign you're playing. 2 person for CE/H2 and 4 for the rest.

    Hi,

    There is no 'glitch' here. Xbox Live for online play is only required for consoles, you do not need gold to play PC games online.

    So, you can play games like Gears, Forza, Halo MCC on PC without a subscription.

    I have updated the firmware.

    Last night I disconnected my Xbox from the internet and tried playing that way but still did it. I even did the whole hold the power button down for 5-10 seconds so it would restart.

    If you guys want or can. Go to my profile on here I posted like 16+ videos while playing Halo MCC showing how often it disconnects on me.

    Mine did it like once or twice back in late October while playing Destiny. Then when I got Halo MCC it wasn't doing it at first. Then all of a sudden it was happening every 5 seconds. Then it stopped for a while. A week or so later I started playing AC:
    Unity. Seemed fine at first, didn't really have any issues. Started wondering if it was just Halo MCC since they were having so many problems since it launched. Then next thing that I know it starts happening while playing AC: Unity.

    It does it on the home screen, in the settings, activity feed, in achievements, anywhere.

    I turned the sign in setting off on my kinect. I have even turned the kinect off. Still nothing works.

    I wonder if maybe when they were updating games that had bugs at launch and afterwards (Destiny, Halo MCC, AC: Unity, and others) if maybe some how there was a fix or a patch or maybe a bug that slipped under the radar that screws with the firmware of the
    controllers?

    Just a theory.
