    Screen freezes up after 1+ minutes

    I decided to hook up my original white 360 with HDMI again to replay Bioshock. I had been playing my XBOX One exclusively for a while. When I hooked the 360 up, it said it required an update. No problem. After updating, the 360 image froze. I rebooted
    and the 360 freezes approximately l1 minute after I start playing a game. Occasionally, there are red lights, but not always. Sometimes 3 and sometimes 4

    I have tried:

    playing the game from the hard drive.

    playing the game from the disk

    waiting up to 1 hour

    using a different game

    moving the 360 to an open air location

    laying the 360 flat

    standing the 360 on its end

    clearing the cache

    removing the hard drive

    using a different HDMI cable

    switching to component video cables.

    nothing works.

    :)

    Screen freezes after update, June 2013, HEEEELP!

    Nothing from Screen Freeze tool helped. No error codes, just the opening screen, sometimes 5 seconds, sometimes 1 minute., with or without game inserted.

  3. Box freezes on turn on at sign in page.

    When I start my Xbox one it takes forever to start up sitting on the green Xbox screen for several minutes then goes black. After being a black screen for a few minutes it shows the dashboard and all my accounts on the left but freezes there and I can't
    continue.

    Hey there McLovin! I'm sorry to hear about the console issues. Let's see what we can do to get things sorted.

    I see you've tried a lot of troubleshooting steps already, and you might have touched on part of these guides already.

    However, since you pointed out that you see red lights on occasion, the best place to start is definitely our

    Flashing Lights Wizard
    . Please give that a look and work through all of the solutions there.

    Let us know how things go as well as exactly which steps from that guide that you tried and the results. We'll be standing by to hear back from you! ^_^
