    Screen freezes at "Play Game" screen and we can't play Minecraft


    We just bought X-Box One last weekend, along with Minecraft. We installed the DVD and my son played the first night with it for about 4 hours. The next day, we couldn't be past a screen freeze at the "Play Game" screen. We rebooted everything, unplugged
    everything and plugged back in about 6-7 times. Uninstalled the game and reinstalled. Nothing worked. Kept freezing up at the same screen. Didn't know if it was a console issue or a DVD issue. So I bought another game the next day (Destiny) and he has been
    playing it for several days with no issues. I assumed then that it was a bad Minecraft DVD, so took it back to the store for replacement. Uninstalled the old game and installed the new DVD. The screen freezes up at exactly the same place. We can't play this
    game, and I don't understand why. I am a low-tech mom with pretty limited, basic knowledge, but this seems ridiculous. Has anyone else had this problem? I'm ready to take the X-Box One and the game back to Best Buy and tell them we just want our money back.

    Problem playing. Please help.

    Bought Titanfall on Dec. 9th. Today is January 3rd. I have never been able to play the game because it freezes at the "Signing In..." Screen at startup. Please help/advise.

    Games tried during Christmas Hack no longer working and other lingering problems

    GTA5 is on disc and it freezes on the first loading screen. I can play it from the beginning if I log out but then I can't save. Advanced Warfare and Minecraft are digital copies and they freeze on the first screen, but I can play Destiny and every game
    I DIDN'T try on Christmas. Hmm....

    I also can't uninstall any games or copy them to an external hard drive.

    Any suggestions?

    Not too familiar with the xbox one because I still stick predominately with the 360.

    All I can suggest at the moment from the information you have given is to perform a hard restart. Hold the power button for 10 seconds while the system is on. The system will turn off. When you hit the button again, it will start and display the green start-up
    screen. Hopefully your issue will be resolved.

    I'm having the exact same problem, I keep cold booting, uninstalling/reinstalling the game but it still crashes at the "Play Game" page.

    We actually finally gave up and returned the X-Box One and the Minecraft game (for the 3rd time.) We bought a comparable laptop PC and downloaded the digital version with no problems. We can't play any of the mods, however - we get Trojan virus warnings
    which lock up his computer - continually. Wish we could have afforded a Mac laptop (virus free!) but he'll have to play with no mods for now I guess.

    Update for Rocket League doesn't finish.

    Update: while the game is updating I can't play any other game as they just freeze at the menu screen as well.

    Game freezes on Caddy Screen

    I have the same problem with it freezing on the caddy screen, I had hoped that when I bought the full version it would maybe resolve it but it didn't. My boyfriend started playing it though, and he doesn't freeze on the caddy screen while we are playing.
    He was able to go in and change his perks just fine and I can't even get to that point.
