    Screen Flickering


    Hello! I have OLED65E6P and I just got Xbox One X and trying to play State of Decay 2 and it keeps flickering driving us crazy.

    We looked in Allow YCC 4:2:2 and it is unchecked. Anything else it could be?

    1. Am not using any signal splitter.

    2. Using this hdmi cable. FASTSEVEN HDMI CABLE 6ft 2-Pack 4K Ultra High Speed HDMI 2.0b Version Support 4K Ultra HDR 1080p 2160p 3D Ethernet CEC

    3. Am using HDMI 3 with Hdmi Ultra HD Deep Color ON. (its ON on all 4 hdmi ports)

    Screen Flickering

    Since the last update for the xbox I have had problems with my screen flickering. It seems to be doing it only in Hulu and Netflix. I know other people have had this problem, but I have yet to see an actual solution. Wondering if anyone had a solution
    out there. The screen has no problem when playing games or using other apps. Cable works fine. I recently started using a receiver but the problem didn't come til a week or two after I got it and right after the last update. Can anyone help?

    Hey again.

    Sorry to hear you're still having troubles. Do you have a different HDMI cable you can test to see if that helps clear up your issue?

    Thanks for posting, has this always happened with State of Decay 2? Were there any changes made to your set up around the time this started happening? Here's a like for some more information about the Xbox One X and 4K capabilities:

    Thanks for replying. I think my issue is SOLVED.

    MY Xbox One X is brand new. State of Decay 2 was just installed.

    What I did was replace the FASTSEVEN HDMI CABLE 6ft with the

    equally long HDMI cable that came with the Xbox and the flickering stopped.

    The Xbox cable is a lot thicker than the FASTSEVEN. Maybe it has better shielding.

    Next time I'll use the Microsoft accessory before I try to improve on it!

    You talk about going black but have flickering on Topic.

    There was an official Problem with HDR Flickering on that TVs and Xbox but that should be fixed a time ago

    The screen flickers when HDR or HDMI ULTRA HD Deep Colour is on in the TV, after a while of flickering it goes black, then the TV loses the signal from the Xbox. That's
    my problem.

    If I deactivate HDMI ULTRA HD Deep Colour, then there's no more flickering and no more black screen.

    Well it isn't fixed yet, I'm 100% sure I am on the latest firmware on both the LG C9 and the Xbox One X.

    LG HDMI Ultra HD Deep Color issue (Screen flickering)

    not sure if the flickering is the same. But i have a sony 4k with HDR and when ever i am playing games i will get flickering., The screen does no flicker as in a HDMI problem as in turning on and off. It's more like the color flickering from dark to light
    really fast. But If I turn off 4k on the Xbox it will correct the problem.
