Screen flickering when xbox turns on

So I turned my Xbox One on this morning and it worked fine. Tried it just now and I get screen flickering. Half of my screen is black the other half is white. I use the Smart TV app and try Netflix, works fine, no issues with the picture so it's not the
TV. I do a hard reset and unplug the console and HDMI. I unplug it once from the back of the console and once from the outlet. Neither worked. Tried a different HDMI cable, didn't work. Anything else I can try? Thank you

LG HDMI Ultra HD Deep Color issue (Screen flickering)

not sure if the flickering is the same. But i have a sony 4k with HDR and when ever i am playing games i will get flickering., The screen does no flicker as in a HDMI problem as in turning on and off. It's more like the color flickering from dark to light
really fast. But If I turn off 4k on the Xbox it will correct the problem.

Mirror's edge on xbox one BC has subtle brightening and darkening effect that did not exist on 360

Hi all,

When I play the Xbox one BC version of mirror's edge, there is this flickering or strobing effect on the entire screen that did not exist on the 360. It is very apparent when standing still. Just looking at a wall has this subtle flickering between bright
and dark lighting.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Hey there JGravelle,

Sorry to hear about the issue with the screen flickering. Have you also tried different HDMI ports on the TV? Are you connecting the console directly to the TV with the HDMI cable? Or are you using a converter of some kind as well.

There was an official Problem with HDR Flickering on that TVs and Xbox but that should be fixed a time ago

The screen flickers when HDR or HDMI ULTRA HD Deep Colour is on in the TV, after a while of flickering it goes black, then the TV loses the signal from the Xbox. That's
my problem.

If I deactivate HDMI ULTRA HD Deep Colour, then there's no more flickering and no more black screen.

Well it isn't fixed yet, I'm 100% sure I am on the latest firmware on both the LG C9 and the Xbox One X.
