    I've been noticing some very strange and frustrating behavior when my Xbox One S is on "Instant-on mode". I've got my Xbox One S and my PC both plugged into different inputs on my 4K TV. When the console is powered off and my TV input is anything else (e.g,
    my PC), the TV will flicker on/off very often to the point it's unusable. If I either turn my Xbox One S on, unplug the console's HDMI cable, or turn off "Instant-on mode", the flickering stops immediately. My Xbox One S is in the Xbox Preview Program and
    I've been keeping the "Instant-on mode" on so I can do console streaming to my mobile device. Does anyone have any ideas on how to stop the screen flicker in the current configuration?

    How much electricity does the Instant-On mode on the Xbox One needs and how much does the energy-saving mode?

    In Energy saving mode, the console consumes less than 1 Watts of power (0.2 Watts per hour). During operation, or in "Instant On" mode, it depends on what the console is currently doing.

    When the console is doing "nothing" in Instant On mode, the console uses roughly about 10 - 15 Watts per hour and when downloading/updating games during Instant On mode, it might be up to 20 Watts, depending on if you have Kinect attached, or if you have
    an older (original) Xbox One or a Xbox One S or X model.

    If the console is turned on, and idling on the home screen, or watching TV, it's about 30 - 70 Watts, and when playing games it's between 50 - 120 Watts per hour.

    There was an official Problem with HDR Flickering on that TVs and Xbox but that should be fixed a time ago
    The screen flickers when HDR or HDMI ULTRA HD Deep Colour is on in the TV, after a while of flickering it goes black, then the TV loses the signal from the Xbox. That's
    my problem.

    If I deactivate HDMI ULTRA HD Deep Colour, then there's no more flickering and no more black screen.

    Well it isn't fixed yet, I'm 100% sure I am on the latest firmware on both the LG C9 and the Xbox One X.

    "xbox on" Command not working...

    You need to put the Xbox One into the "Instant on" mode under Power mode ;) When you've selected the insant power mode, you can select "wake by saying XBOX on".

    To overcome it, I have to use Energy-Saving mode.
