Screen Flicker on the Xbox One S

I just purchased a Xbox One S and hooked it up to my Sceptre U500CV-UMK TV and when I enabled 4k and set the resolution to 4k UHD the screen constantly flickers. I was just wanting to know if anybody else has this issue and if there is a fix for it.

Hdmi ultra deep color enabled on my tv and monitor causes xbox to make screen flicker

I have two lg 4k monitors . The problem Im having is in order to get 4k features from my xbox one s to display on my monitors I have to enable hdmi ultra hd deep color on my monitors to get 4k 6ohz hdmi 2.0 , so I can get the 4k at 6ohz enabled . It says
that the xbox one s supports this , but I have read other customers complaining about the same thing. My lg tv and my monitors support 4k hdmi 2.0 with ultra hd deep color mode enabled yet , when I enable this the screens flicker. It has nothing to do with
the hdmi cords as this feature and displays work fine when I game on my pc and does not cause the screen to flicker like the xbox one s . Is their a firmware update coming to fix this ?? It says on your website that the xbox one s does support hdmi ultra hd
deep color feature, yet when i enable it it causes screens to flicker and this doest happened with my pc only xbox . When will this be resolved ????

 

Xbox One S screen flicker on blu ray

brand new Sony 75" 850E, supports 4k, HDR10, etc. I have the One S plugged into port 2, with a brand new high speed cable. Playing a blu ray the screen goes black for a second or 2 about every 10 minutes. Or the sound will cut out for a second or two and
come back.

I tried playing a UHD and the screen says no signal. When I go back to display settings on the Xbox now it doesn't show 4l as an option, and says my tv doesn't support any of those features.

Can anyone help out at all? Is there a setting I need to turn on or off on the Xbox and/or tv?

 

Does your TV have a motion-smoothing feature? You can find it in the TV settings using your TV remote. I believe for your TV model, it's called "MEMC 120" or something along the lines of that.

Try disabling it completely. Sometimes, motion-smoothing can cause flickering on the TV because the Xbox doesn't necessarily need all that image post-processing.

It has it but I have no way to disable the feature in the settings menu

 

Did you ever get your issue fixed? I was also having this issue and it turns out it was a firmware issue on the TV itself. I contacted Sceptre technical support and they knew all about the problem and emailed me the firmware update to correct the issue.
I have yet to take it home and update, just wanted to let you now.
