    Screen Flashes and Flickers with Home Button Menu Up.


    With a game in the background, pressing the X button to bring up the menu causes the game screen to flicker, and flash when the cursor is moved. It's fine as long as the cursor isn't moving, but as soon as you move it, the screen goes nuts.

    Anyone else notice this?

    I'm on a Series X with Beta build from the 15th.

    Xbox is unresponsive sometimes when using instant-on.

    I believe I'm having the same problem. Mine powers on into TV mode and WILL NOT go to the home screen for a few minutes. All my buttons work. I can hold down the home button and the power menu comes up. Double tap the home button and the snap menu comes
    up. But single press doesn't do anything. It take maybe two minutes for like the system to catch up to whatever and then it'll let me go to my home screen.

    I've had this happen myself. Do you have any luck if you press the white Home button on the controller? Does it bring up the menu on the left of the screen? For me, when I pressed Home in this menu, then it refreshed the Xbox and the screen would load
    back to my Home screen on the TV.

    Press and hold the menu button when on the home screen (with the game/app selected). It pops up a context menu to allow you to close the game/app.

    Thanks for the reply.

    Firstly, I can't actually access the Xbox home screen; only the Troubleshoot menu, so your first link wont help me.

    And I've tried the console reset with USB before and when i press the 'Offline system update' button on the "Troubleshoot" menu, it flashes to the update screen, then takes me back to the Troubleshoot menu. In short, it doesnt work.

    Thanks for the help though.
