    Screen fades to black

Okay, So Ill attempt to play say Dead Rising 3 and I'll put the nice clean, no scratches what so ever disk in the X1 the title screen will pop up ....aaaaand black screen. alright guess I'm not playing that tonight. Lets try a digital copy of Peggle 2,
title screen....and nope, black screen. I'll go back to the dashboard and everything else is there but the main tile is still black. Why is that? Now before you ask, yes its plugged in, yes its turned on, yes its connected to the internet or i wouldn't
know about the new season of Boondocks(because I really care about that) yes it's laying flat and also yes Blurays do still play.

    :)

  2. My Xbox One home screen fades to a black screen

My Xbox One starts up and signs me in but then it shows the home screen for a second then fades into a black screen. I can still access the side menu and play games but whenever I go to the home screen it fades into a black screen. I tried the cold reset
    but it didn't help.

    Home screen fades to black.

Go to network settings and after that go offline. Restart your console, go online again.

    Hope this helps!

Yup, Ive tried rebooting, unplugging, the whatever it is by holding the power "button" down, and still nothing. Titanfall, and Garden Warfare start right up, but that is it.

  6. Hi Hollyvvood

Have you tried to Reinstall a Game to fix it..?

    (Games&Apps-> select app-> "back or start"-Deinstall)

I takes a while but perhaps it can help..

Before i would try delete the Alternate MAC-Adress in Advanced NEtwork Settings..

    Black/green/faded screen

Hello, My name is Jesse. I'm an Independent Advisor and a member of the Microsoft community and I'd love to assist you today.

    - Power off your console, and then unplug the power cord to ensure that the console is completely powered off.

    - Wait 30 seconds, and then plug the power cord back in.

    - Press and hold the Pair button (located on the left side of the console) and the Eject button (located on the front of the console), and then press the Xbox button on the console.

    - Continue holding the Pair and Eject buttons for 10-15 seconds.

    - Listen for two “power-up” tones a couple of seconds apart. You can release the Pair and Eject buttons after the second power-up tone.

    - The console should power up and take you directly to the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter.

If your console doesn't have an Eject button, you can bring up the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter on this console by holding only the Pair button (steps 3 & 4) and then pressing the Xbox button. Continue holding the Pair and Eject buttons for 10-15 seconds.

    - Once you see the Startup Troubleshooter, select Factory Reset and then choose "Keep Games and Apps"

    - Once the Reset is complete, you'll be prompted to sign into your console using your Microsoft account credentials, after which you'll choose your preferred settings and your console should display normally again.

NB: A factory reset keeping games and apps will not delete your game saves as they are backed up in the cloud and will resync once you've signed in.
