    When i want to change the resolution in games into 4:3 1024x768 or lower or widescreen 16:10 1080x1080, the screen would split in halves, in one half is the game wich becomes a little gray and the other is just black, it only does this in games it doesn't affect the windows screen, i have a laptop with dedicated and integrated graphic cards one is from intel i don't know the name and the other is an nvidia gtx 940mx that works with an i7 7500U. I just want to use those resolutions and reminder that i have the drivers up to date.

    Hello Ionut, have you checked if you have the latest version of Windows installed, at 21H2, and also if the drivers of your video card need updating?

    If they are already updated, tried some procedure on the PC, if tried what were?

    I couldn't find that model however, Acer's 'Aspire' range are laptop computers. It is highly likely that your laptop's HDMI port is an output only. Which means it is only designed to output your laptop display to another screen. It can not be used for
    a display for your Xbox 360. Sorry.

    The HDMI port on your laptop is likely only an HDMI out, so that you can hook it up to an external TV/monitor and output its display to that.

    In order to display the Series S's output on your laptop's screen, it would have to have an HDMI in port.

    What's the make/model of the laptop?

    Just to make sure I'm following, you are wanting the Xbox to display on the screen of the laptop? if that's the case, then that is not possible, unfortunately.

    Hey Raul!

    As previously stated most laptops commonly have HDMI outputs on them in order to display the contents of the laptop on a TV or other displays. The only way to get your Xbox One to show up on a screen would be if you have the option to switch the input to
    HDMI which is rare in laptop or desktop monitors. That being said you may contact the manufacturer of your laptop to see if they have additional options or review the Xbox Display compatibility here:
