    Screen dims every 10mins while watching / streaming


    I have always run my SKY box through my xbox one with zero issuse. After the last update and after about 10mins of screen vewing, wether it be TV, youtube, netflix or films on my USB the screen goes dim as if its in power save mode? I have to power
    up the controller knock the toggles and bingo we get the brightness back. Doesnt happen while playing games because contoller is always in use.

    Its now getting very annoying... spoke to support and after 1 1/2 she came to the conclusion its my HDMI. New HDMI today... same problem? All internal settings have been checked and adjusted.. rest xbox.. still all the same.

    Anybody had same issuse or have a fix??

    After update, screen dims when watching Netflix

    I am having the exact same problem. The screen dims every 10min while watching Netflix. The problem seems to have just started with the update that just took place. (Xbox one)

    I cannot find any setting to adjust or disable the screen-dim feature. (I also don't have a kinect)

    No settings have been altered within the TV.

    What is going on?

    What game or app are you using when you see this happen? Do you have a controller connected to the console and if so is it turned on?

    Screen dims every 10mins while watching / streaming

    Same issue. It's not your HDMI lead. Xbox Support don't know what they're talking about half the time. It's some sort of screensaver that can't be deactivated. The only work around I've found is to say "Xbox play" using the Kinect each time it happens.

    Since it's HBO Microsoft / Xbox cannot update it. It's up to the Developer of the app to update it Microsoft has no control over the app.
