Screen dimming not working any more

Since introduction of this feature, it has been working flawlessly. But exactly three updates ago, it has stopped working (three updates have been applied since it stopped working). I tried setting the timer to 2 and 10 minutes, but the screen did not dim.

I've tried it after each update, but it just isn't working any more. And before you suggest it, yes, I already did a hard reset multiple times.

Is this a known problem? Is anyone else experiencing a similar problem? (I tried searching the problem here, but since you can't sort by date, I can't say if anyone else has the same problem recently.)

Are you in a Insider preview ring?

If so, you should use the Report a problem feature and post on the Reddit XBox Insiders Forum.

Were there any controllers connected? If your controller is suffering from control drift this could cause to send inputs to your console and prevent it from idling. Try disconnecting any controllers and see if you're able to trigger the screen to dim.

What XBox OS version is installed on the console?

Mother... I have a CronusMax connected, which helps me prevent pain in my hand. Sure enough, after disconnecting it, screen dimming works again.

But it DID work before with the CM connected, so I'm not sure why this is happening now. Oh well, I will have to contact the manufacturer, maybe the can update their firmware (but I kinda doubt it).
