    Screen dimming after 10 minutes of Blu Ray


    Hello.

    My screen keeps dimming after 10 minutes while playing a Blu Ray Disney WoW. I am trying to run the pixel flipper and it keeps dimming out. I have tried a power cycle and shutting my controller off. Nothing seems to stop it from dimming. It is very frustrating.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Having this issue after the latest update now too in the Blu-Ray Player app.

    Screen keeps dimming around the time the controller would turn off.

    Screen auto-dimming after 10 minutes

    While watching HBO Now, the screen will dim after about 10 minutes. I can't find a setting to turn the auto dimming feature off.

    Try this, It seems to have worked for me:

    1) Turn off the Xbox one.

    2) Unplug the console from the power brick.

    3) Let it sit unplugged 5-10 minutes.

    4) Plug the console back into the power brick.

    5) Turn on the Xbox one.

    Xbox goes dark when watching movies

    Its a known bug that generally affects Blu-rays and a few streaming services and is related to the screen saver feature on your Xbox. From my experience, it will persist across resets. The quickest fix is to go to your settings, Then go to preferences,
    then go to Idle options. Scroll over to the Dim screen settings and set it to the maximum of 60 minutes to give you the longest amount of time without interruption. Hopefully the next update can give us a disable Dimming Option.

    Same thing happens to me, it's constant and highly annoying. I looked all over to adjust this setting, Netflix works fine. Why is this a problem? Guess I'll go back to my Apple TV, lol
