Discus and support Screen Dim on Startup after August Update in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; This happens every time I turn on my console now.     Screen Dim on Startup after August Update


    This happens every time I turn on my console now. I have to turn it on, then off, then back on - every bloody time.

    This problem isn't being resolved by "turning off the console, then turning it back on" - that's a workaround.

    Where's the fix?

    Exact same issue as ComixZone.

    Every time I turn it on, its dim. I then have to turn off the console, and turn on again to work around the problem.

    steps that you have tried. In the meantime, give the following troubleshooting steps a try:

    • Press and hold the power button on your Xbox One console for 10 seconds.
    • Once your console is powered off, unplug the power cord and your HDMI cable.
    • Wait 5 minutes and then plug in your console.
    • Plug in the HDMI cable and make sure that the HDMI cable connection to your console is secure.
    • Power on your console and check to see if the issue continues.
