Screen darkens when watching a movie.

Sinds the update the tv screen darkens when watching a movie on the Xbox. I have to touch the controllor to get a normal screen... But after a few minutes (circa 15 min) the screen darkens again. Its very annoying and it look like a sort screen dimmer/saver?

I cant find a setting to adjust this and it never happen before the update.

Can anyone confirm this?Is there an solution?

Vudu and Amazon Video having problems since the New Xbox One Update. "Judder" or "Stutter" like effect when videos are playing on these two apps.

When i'm watching a movie on my VUDU app it'll freeze every few minutes but the audio will keep playing. It'll start playing again like normal but in a minute or so it'll happen again. Also, the screen will go dark like the brightness has been turned down.
The movie and audio keeps playing but it's hard to watch because the screen is so dark. PLease fix!

 

Watching Blu Ray Movie problems

when i'm watching a movie everything works alright,but when i try to snap an app or go home my screens gets dark for 1-2 seconds and my TV makes a noise (something like "plub")

do you have the same issue ?

 

Have you checked which power mode you're set on? Do you have it set to energy saver?

 

Mine is doing the same thing since the new update.

There are no power settings to change. I have a few issues with the Netflix app. I'm thinking maybe it's just the apps and they need to be patched.

 

Same problem here with the Movies & TV app, plus movies & tv app has video playback issues as well, watch a movie with motion or panning, you'll notice the screen hitches/jerky motion. In low motion its much harder to notice.

 

Has any one figured this out yet. when watching regular TV mine also darkens after being on 10 to 15 minutes if I don't touch the controller. Why would they make this with out giving the user the ability to adjust this. I have my xbox one set to instant-on
and "don't turn off automatically"

 

No they haven't fixed it yet or at least my Xbox hasn't fixed it yet. It is really pissing me off...

 

Restored factory defaults. Works, and goes quicker since its all synced. What took two days to initially install, Destiny is at 50% after a little bit of an hour. Sucks regardless, but, its looking like its the only way. No problems with streaming services,
the energy saving time out whatever hasn't happened again yet. So, for anyone apprehensive, its the solid way to go.
